GRIEG FESTIVAL 2015 The Grieg Festival brings together well-known Grieg performers, scholars, young artists, and audiences to celebrate Grieg’s life and music, particularly the lesser-known works which are rarely heard in the United States and Canada. Wirefree Home Automation Members of the International Grieg Society in Bergen, Norway and the Grieg Archives at Bergen Public Library join American artists and scholars in performances, presentations, and an exhibit of Grieg’s manuscripts and letters.  This unique experience offers rare opportunities for Norwegians and Americans to share their expertise with each other and with audiences.  Young artists from the US and Canada will perform many of the lesser-known songs and piano pieces as they compete for prizes totaling $12,000 and concert tours in Norway.
